From the Executive Desk
To our Valued Agents:
Autumn is my favorite season with the changing of leaves, Keeneland in the fall, horse sales, trail rides, cozy clothes, and cooler temperatures. I will admit though that I am not a fan of pumpkin spice and don’t understand the seasonal craze. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. It is a time to be thankful for what we have and to reflect and appreciate the people in our lives who make a difference both personally and professionally. I want to take this opportunity to thank our agents for your continued support and loyalty. It is so appreciated.
Autumn is also a time of change. In the words of artist, illustrator and author, Heather Stillufsen, “Autumn, the season that teaches us that change can be beautiful.” We have some leadership changes in the AgriBusiness® and Equine Mortality Divisions that I would like to share with you.
Jim Muething has decided to make a career change within Great American and will move into a newly created role of business leadership coach. Jim is uniquely positioned to mentor and develop our leaders for the future. He will be greatly missed as our Group President but we are happy that we will still be able to utilize his expertise and mentorship.
We wish him all the best of luck in his new role.
