Great American Environmental is further expanding into the Canadian market with Lions Gate Underwriting
Great American Environmental is excited to announce the successful debut of our collaboration with Lions Gate Underwriting (LGU) to offer contractor and premises environmental liability coverage in Canada! Great American and LGU are providing contractors pollution and professional liability coverage along with premises environmental liability products.
This collaboration will allow Great American Environmental’s team to bring some of its innovative policy features to the Canadian insurance landscape. Focusing on Contracting Services, the wording includes Errors and Omissions arising from associated Professional Services, which would typically require a separate policy. For LGU, having a best in class product that can be offered in an Occurrence form as well as Claims Made is a distinct advantage to the Canadian market. Finally, having the ability to offer premises coverage in both Canada and the United States gives LGU an edge when competing on those cross border risks.
