Environmental Team Welcomes Stephanie Stricker

Great American Insurance Group’s Environmental Division is excited to welcome Stephanie Stricker to its Marketing department as a learning and development coordinator. In her new role, Stephanie will expand the Division’s training programs and develop onboarding resources for our members. Working with department leaders, Stephanie will curate resources and curriculum to best serve the needs of each role. Her background in education and commercial lines underwriting provides her with extensive knowledge on the process of writing policies and will support her in facilitating the learning process for all members of the Division.

Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Indiana University Bloomington. During her undergraduate studies, Stephanie spent time as a student teacher, applying her skills from the classroom to educating young minds. Post-graduation, Stephanie worked as a second-grade educator and served on various curriculum committees to ensure best teaching practices were being implemented for student growth.

After working several years in the education sector, Stephanie shifted her career path and began working as a commercial lines underwriter for a prominent insurance carrier. By successfully managing company risk and customer relationships, Stephanie was a recipient of the ABC (Above and Beyond the Call) Award which honored four employees each year for excellent service to internal and external customers.

Stephanie’s unique background in education and insurance will allow her to craft comprehensive training programs that provide guidance on both the underwriting process and the customer service aspect of the industry – lessons which will resonate with all members of the Division.

Prior to joining Great American, Stephanie transitioned into a role as a corporate trainer with her carrier’s learning and development team. As a corporate trainer, Stephanie worked with the L&D team to provide educational programs and foster new learning opportunities. With Stephanie’s rich experience in cultivating increased knowledge among team members, she will provide the Division innovative programs to continue supporting our talented and knowledgeable members.

“I’ve always been interested in learning something new – I’m a lifelong learner,” Stephanie said. “Taking difficult concepts and making them digestible is important to me, so in this role, I am looking forward to helping associates grow through a streamlined development process.”

Stephanie, along with the team of experts at Great American Environmental, can assist in uncovering the hidden risks in your clients’ operations and develop a custom program to help protect them.
