Wall Street Run & Heart Walk—Off to the Races

This past May, Great American’s Environmental Division took part in the 2019 American Heart Association’s (AMA) Wall Street Run & Heart Walk.

Each year, the event attracts thousands of participants with the goal of $3,500,000. All proceeds go to the funding of cardiovascular medical research, educating consumers on healthy living, and fostering appropriate cardiac care.  

This year’s event was a huge success for the AMA and for our team. Our teams’ lead runner finished with an outstanding 5k time of 23:30 minutes!

We would like to give a special thanks to the American Heart Association for hosting another fantastic race and all of those who volunteered to make the event a success.
