Mark Vuono – Celebrating 40 years in Environmental Insurance Industry
The Environmental Division is proud to celebrate a notable anniversary for our president, Mark Vuono. In August of 1981, Mark began his career in environmental insurance.
Forty years later, Mark has established himself as a proven leader in the field. While the markets and industry regulations may have changed since his career began, Mark’s values remain steadfast – and are recognized through the admiration his colleagues show.
As part of the team that launched the Environmental Division at Great American, Mark’s leadership over the last 14 years has guided the Environmental Division to achieve great success as a leading and trusted carrier for environmental brokers. This year, the Division was recognized as a top environmental carrier in the industry as a 5-Star Environmental Insurance Provider by Insurance Business America (IBA).
As a Division, we express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Mark for his continued support and collaboration. It is not only the awards and business achievements we have won that make us proud, but also the core values and focus on service that Mark has instilled which allow us to maintain our growth and overcome challenges as a team.
2020 was undoubtedly a testing year, but through the leadership which Mark provided, we maintained our culture of teamwork and collaboration throughout and remain a strong carrier of choice for our brokers.
