Great American Insurance Run

The Great American Insurance Run Program Supports The Greater Cincinnati Tri-State Red Cross

To support the Greater Cincinnati Tri-State Red Cross, Great American Insurance Group is pledging to donate $250 each time the Reds score an “insurance run” at Great American Ball Park during the 2024 season.

By definition, an “insurance run” is any additional run scored by the Reds in the 6th through 8th innings of any home game where the Reds are in the lead. Each time an insurance run is scored means $250 more to the organization. In 2023, we presented a check for $15,000.

The Greater Cincinnati Tri-State Red Cross is a part of the American Red Cross Central & Southern Ohio Region, which serves nearly six million people in 47 counties in Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana from Darke to Guemsey counties, to Richland and Adams counties. The region includes the major cities of Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton.

The Red Cross shelters, feeds, provides health and mental health services and emotional support to victims of disaster. It provides disaster preparedness training and information for children and adults. The Red Cross supplies about 40 percent of the nation’s blood supply, teaches lifesaving skills and supports veterans, military members and their families. Approximately 90 percent of its workforce is volunteers.

The operations of Great American Insurance Group are engaged primarily in property and casualty insurance, focusing on specialty commercial products for businesses.
